Where are your accessories made?
Garter & Veil is an independent British bridal accessories atelier. Our pieces are designed and handmade in England by designer Gemma Victoria in her private Sussex atelier.
How far in advance should I order?
All items unless specified are made to order, please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for standard collection designs and 6–8 weeks for bespoke orders, plus delivery time. More involved commissions may require longer.Please check the individual product description for the relevant lead time. If you need your accessories for a dress fitting, hair trial or departure date, please take this into account when ordering.
Can you accommodate a rush order?
Sometimes, depending on the design and availability in the atelier’s production schedule. Please email us before ordering with the piece you are considering, your wedding date and the date you need it to arrive. We’ll confirm what is possible before you place your order.
Can you help me choose my accessories?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to email photographs of your dress, hairstyle inspiration and any designs you are considering. For more detailed guidance, book a virtual consultation with Gemma to explore your bridal look together.
Will my piece look exactly like the photographs?
Each piece is made by hand, so small variations in placement, shape and natural materials are part of its individual character. Freshwater pearls, in particular, may vary slightly in size, shape and tone.Colours can also appear differently on different screens. If you are unsure about a particular detail, please contact us before ordering.
Do you collaborate with creatives, artists or stylists?
Yes — we love to collaborate. If you’re a stylist, photographer, content creator or artist who feels aligned with our aesthetic, we’d be delighted to discuss a partnership.
