Through a private virtual consultation, you can work directly with me to explore the pieces, proportions and details that will work beautifully with your gown, hairstyle and individual style.
Whether you already have a particular design in mind or simply aren't sure where to begin, I'll help you bring the whole look together with confidence.
A More Personal Way to Choose
Accessories can completely change the balance of a bridal look, and sometimes the smallest details are the hardest to judge from photographs alone.
During your consultation, we'll look at your gown, planned hairstyle and the overall feeling you want to create. I can show you pieces in more detail, talk through scale and proportion, suggest combinations and help you narrow down the designs that feel most like you.
Because you'll be speaking directly with me, you're also able to ask questions about the way a piece is made, how it sits or fastens, and whether small design adjustments might be possible.
It's relaxed, personal and entirely centred around your wedding.
YOUR BRIDAL LOOK
Your gown, neckline, hairstyle, veil and overall styling direction — considering proportion and balance rather than choosing each element in isolation.
ACCESSORY PAIRINGS
Headpieces, jewellery, pins and veils considered together, including advice on scale, placement, fastening and comfort.
BESPOKE POSSIBILITIES
If you haven't found quite the right piece, we can discuss adaptations, custom details or whether a fully bespoke commission would be appropriate.

What to Expect
01 — Before We Meet
When booking, I'll ask you to share a little about your wedding and what you'd like help with. If you have photographs of your gown, hairstyle inspiration or pieces you're considering, have them ready for our appointment.

02 — Your Consultation
We'll meet online for a private 40-minute consultation and work through your ideas together. I'll show you relevant designs, answer questions and suggest combinations based on your gown, styling and preferences. Your current Wix service is already configured as a 40-minute online consultation.

03 — Afterwards
You'll leave with a much clearer idea of the pieces that work for you. Where appropriate, I can direct you to existing designs or explain the next steps for a bespoke commission.

You don't need to have every detail decided before your consultation.

FAQ
Can I book if I haven't chosen my hairstyle yet? Absolutely. We can consider different possibilities and discuss how particular pieces would work with several hairstyles.
Can we discuss a bespoke design? Yes. A consultation is a useful starting point if you're considering something bespoke. We can explore your ideas and I can advise whether an existing design, adaptation or bespoke commission would best achieve the look you have in mind.
Can you advise me on pieces I have already seen on the website? Yes. Bring the names or links to any designs you're considering and I can help you compare scale, placement, styling and suitable pairings.
I'm outside the UK. Can I still book? Yes. Garter & Veil works with brides internationally and virtual consultations can be held wherever you are.
