Garter & Veil is proudly handcrafted from a private working studio in West Sussex, where every piece is created with care, precision, and an unwavering commitment to artistry. Our studio is not a retail space, but a place of quiet making — where designs are shaped, refined, and brought to life by hand.
As part of our continued focus on craftsmanship, we no longer offer in-person showroom appointments. Instead, we now work remotely from the studio, allowing us to dedicate more time to the creation of each piece and to the brides who choose to wear them.
This shift ensures we can maintain the highest level of detail, quality, and service, while keeping lead times reliable and production intimate, intentional, and slow-made.

For brides who would like a more in-depth, face-to-face conversation, we are pleased to offer virtual appointments, held privately over Zoom. These sessions provide the personal connection of an atelier consultation, without the need to visit the studio in person.

Every Garter & Veil piece is made in our Sussex atelier using traditional techniques, modern artistry and consciously sourced materials. Working remotely from the studio allows us to create each design slowly and intentionally, maintain small-batch and limited-run production, offer bespoke and customisable options, and protect the time and attention required for true heirloom craftsmanship — ensuring consistent quality across every collection. This quiet, considered way of working is at the heart of our brand.
